BRUK-BET: one system to plan and account for production across the whole company
BRUK-BET is a Polish family company and the market leader in paving stones and terrace tiles, with repeated first places for paving stones in nationwide consumer quality surveys. In April 2021 it signed with us for BB-Planner, one system to plan and account for production in all of its factories. The first stage was accepted a month later.
The challenge
BRUK-BET has grown for over 40 years by opening and buying factories across Poland. Its planning had to cover every factory and line in one place, and take in new factories and lines as they came.
What we built
Planning across sites is one of the uses we describe in AI in industry, and today it is part of Firecrux Automation.
- BB-Planner: production planning for every factory and line in one place.
- Accounting for what each line produced against the plan.
- A big-data foundation that scales as factories and lines are added.
Results
- BB-Planner runs every day, five years after its first stage was accepted.
- It plans and accounts for production in all of BRUK-BET’s factories, about 15 of them, from one place.
Timeline
- April 2021: contract signed.
- May 2021: the first stage accepted.
- 2022: the system extended.
